Why it is we cannot see what we already have?
We often look at what we call lifestyle as something others somewhere else have. Indeed as something we haven’t got but would need to acquire to allow us to be of value.
Who we are and what we possess mostly doesn’t match the conventional idea of “lifestyle”. Thus we consider our own lifestyle unworthy or not good enough.
The reason for this often lies in our social upbringing and the conditioning we receive on our way through to adult life.
Directing the attention to the overwhelming evidence of the myriads of positive features life on earth has to offer, we’d soon realise how little reason we have to be attracted by negative thought and influences.
In fact, once we realise that there is nothing apart of the creative force, that it alone is and from it springs, according to its very nature, the multitude of form and colour, taste and smell, resulting bliss wherever we’re open to encounter it.
The negative, painful and dark turns out as merely a fruit of ignorance on our part as thinking human beings.
It’s the conditioning we’re under that makes us look at the world through tinted glasses! Instead of seeing the beauty of the morning sun, we look at ourselves as victims of a lost battle.
For an award-worthy existence, we make our way to work to spend our time with jobs we don’t want to do, being with people we don’t like, in rooms sealed away from the crisp influences of a living environment.
How dare we call that “lifestyle”!?
And of course, we don’t. Instead, we wither away longing for something we haven’t got unaware of what we are and do have.
Whatever it is we want to acquire, we do need to understand and recognise what we have first.
Only then, do we appreciate and value the tools we have, to be the ones we need to be, and reach out for what we want to achieve in our life’s!
Our understanding grows naturally and without effort when we learn to focus on ourselves as living organisms in a vibrant environment, no matter where we are. The focus here is on us as living entities that are created into this moment of life from an invisible field that science now calls the “unity-” or “quantum field”.
I mean, let’s face it, independent of what it could be, we are not the creator of our existence!
We are capable to discover the conscious influence we can take on our lives though, while the spirit from which it derives is certainly to be recognized and admired.
Once we start to appreciate the living organism, the body we have, instead of over busily being locked away in our thinking heads, judging whatever passes our way, tainting what we encounter, doors open up we didn’t even now to exist.
Its then, we realise that it’s not the money we don’t have, not the missing partner we long for, or the shaggy house we live in that causes the possible depression we’re under.
Our eyes open up to life itself, and our heart starts to pump in excitement as we come to terms with the miracle we already are, even before we have anything other but ourselves.
That, just that is the key to unlock the doors to fulfilment!
